This is gray baseplate....
My first Technic set!
Family, politics, writing, and books, plus my own rantings of course. Lately lots of Lego and ham radio.

Lego City Advent Calendar Day 22
I think this is a rocket maybe? Not sure. Lego City Advent Calendar Day 22
Guess it's a little fuzzy. Oh well. Only took one shot of it. Didn't have much time this morning.

Lego City Advent Calendar Days 19, 20, and 21
Sorry everyone. I've been under the weather and not keeping up with things over the weekend. Here's what we got from the Lego City Advent Calendar on Saturday, Sunday, and this morning.
Day 19- A woman with a cupcake and a cell phone I think.
Day 20- snowman, not sure if you can see the arms in this picture.
Today- fire with marshmallows on sticks.
All 3 together-
Sometime after the 24th I'll do a picture of all the pieces laid out at once. I'll also try to do a photo of the Lego Friends Advent calendar which my daughter has been doing this month. She's modified hers a bit, adding bits that she thinks help her scenes which I think is really great but will of course give you an impure view of the actual set.
We're also almost done building the Santa's Workshop set, but that still has a little more to go.
If you've been following, leave a comment sometime and say "HI". I'd love to know if anyone is actually out there.
Thanks!

Day 14 and Day 15 Lego City Advent Calendar
I was running a little behind on posting photos, but it worked out when I opened this morning's piece because yesterday's piece and today's piece go together.
Day 14 is the train engine piece, and Day 15 is the railroad car behind it.

Day 13 Lego City Advent Calendar
Forgive me; I'm running a day behind on these Lego pictures. Did not get a chance to photograph today's (the 14th) Lego yet, but here is yesterday's.

Santa's Trains at Look Memorial Park
Every year Look Park sets up a train display in the Garden House. In a side room there are trees, sponsored and themed to greet you as you wait in line to see the man with the big white beard. My daughter knows he's not The Man and doesn't care much about him, but we do like seeing the trains and trees. For more info you can go to lookpark.org After you visit Santa and the trains you can take a "train" ride for $5 and see the lights in the park, or you can drive your car through the park and make a donation if you like at the end. I figure $5 per car is cheaper than $5 per person so I don't have any photos of the lights really since I was driving, but I do have some photos of the trees and trains. Enjoy!!
