Writing Class
My boss told me today that I can go ahead and take the writing class. It starts in a couple of weeks and goes until May. It's only 90 minutes/week, and I'll probably eat my lunch then too so I'm only missing about an hour/week from my desk. Not bad. I hope I have the energy to keep up with it. I wasn't sure I would be approved for the time, and am I kind of relieved. Should be fun. I think work is going to get pretty slow due to the budget cuts and this will give me something to do. Yay!

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I love meeting new people. Good luck with the writing class! Since you read so many books, I just wondered if you have come across Alibris.com? I have gotten loads of out-of-print books there at very reasonable prices. You might want to check it out.
ReplyDeleteHey Kathy, I do know about Alibris. They are great for older books and stuff that is out of print. For new stuff though I prefer Amazon. I order from both as part of my job. There is also Abebooks which is good for hard to find stuff as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got approved for the class. Will you share any of your writings on your blog?
ReplyDeleteArlene, I probably will, depending on the writing exercise etc. I haven't had time to do much writing in the last few weeks, I'm hoping the writing class will change that.
