This book by Rhoda Janzen has just been added to my list of books I could not finish. After several attempts at it, I have just admitted defeat and returned it to the Umass library. Some of the reviews look pretty good but it's just not for me. Take a stab at it though. Looks like I'm in the minority on this one. Lots of folks have read it and liked it. I'm going to move on to something else.
